Paul
Hi Guys I have moved to the Northern alps and am looking forward to travelling around Europe by train. I am 31 years old and was wondering if there is a rail card i can purchase to get some saving on train fares. If not is it best to book in advance or just turn up at the train station on the day . Also is there a website to book the tickets through or just through rail europe.Hope some one can help Reagrds Paolowww.alpine-connection.com
cooperlola
Tryhttp://www.voyages-sncf.com/leisure/fr/launch/home/for a kick off. But personally, I think it's one of the worst web-sites I've come across! We have a local SNCF shop here in Le Mans and I find it by far the best place to book train travel from. They are really helpful and on the ball.
Brian
I always use the German (DB) website for train journeys in Europe, might be worth a lookhttp://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/enBrian
