Ryanair refund

Recommended Posts

The link I gave quoted this:

Government taxes may be refunded. Ryanair apply an administration charge per person for tax refund requests. If the refund amount due to the customer is less than the applicable refund administration charge then no refund will be made. Tax refund requests must be made within one month from the outward flight travel date.

and

Complaints/Claims will only be accepted by mail and written in the English language. Passengers are advised to submit copies only, as original documentation will not be retained or returned.

Sue

Edit: the only address I could find that seems at all revelant is this:

Ryanair Refunds Dept
Ryanair Head Office
Dublin Airport
Co Dublin

We're trying to get a refund for flights with Flybe for an Inquest which will now be adjourned in UK, booking done at short notice, cancellation even shorted.

Phoned the help line, they said email the refunds department which we did last Tuesday and so far, not even an acknoeldegement.

I'm trying to get a refund of taxes for an unused flight with Ryanair.

Can't find a number or address, just a reservations number; can anyone help on this?

Anyone managed to get a refund from them?

  • 1 month later...

Whilst trying to find a number to contact Ryanair (preferrably at less than £1 pm !) I happened upon these sites:

http://www.ryanaircampaign.org/contact.html

http://www.courts.ie/courts.ie/library3.nsf/pagecurrent/FA1612690A8F33978025720A00338FE7

I must say the Irish Small Claims Court option looks interesting although I'd very much imagine that if anybody had successfuly screwed the b**st**s this way it would have made headline news [:D]

Well what do you know, on the off chance I tried the 0035318121212 number suggested by P from saynoto0870.com and got through.

1244 was busy so I tried again this time with 1243 and it was answered straight away although when I asked if it was Ryanair I was met with silence.

Undeterred, I pressed on with "oh my god I'm sooo glad to be able to talk to someone at last, I'm at my wits end blah blah blah" and the guy sorted my problem in seconds.

I had failed to get a confirmation email BTW so had no idea that my booking was in place other than the money had gone from my bank A/C. Fortunately all was OK and he even checked my email address (which was correct) and said he'd get the confirmation sent again and it came through moments later.

So there are some nice people there after all, they just like to keep their heads well below the parapit !
