Ford Anglia
We've got friends coming this summer, and they will be met by us at the airport at Limoges. Can anyone advise on parking there, (is it readily available? Do we pay? Is it miles from the arrivals?), and also anything else useful to know? Thanks.
Iceni
The free car parks are (or were when I last visited in April) pretty full but this is France so just leave your car wherever you can find room. Reasonably close to the arrivals/departure area. A far better method is for visitors to hire a car from the minute portacabin type.Johnnot
Alan Zoff
Access to airport very easy.Parked car - as many others had done - in main access road. Strolled up to arrivals as Mrs Zoff was coming out of terminal. The whole exercise took about 5 minutes! (But she had dispensed with everything except hand luggage so did not even have to wait for a case.)That's my girl!
Ford Anglia
Thanks to both. First set arrives around 9:15 pm so I wanted to know what to expect as it'll likely be dark.
Aitch
Try this link http://www.aeroportlimoges.com/uk/planaeroport.php4Shows the plan of the airport. You are able sometimes to find a place in the car-rental area, but the walk from the general car park is not too far 150-250 mts depending where you are parked. Hope this helps,Aitch
Pearly Spencer
Hi, there is also an overflow carpark to the right as you drive in, it is unpaved but adequate for a short stay and you will never be too far from arrivals. Last time i was there it wsa very busy but you will find a spot somewhere I am sure.regardsPearly
Nichthewood
I used Limoges on Saturday. As already said it is very easy to park , BUT only at the moment. I think the car park is closed next weekend. It worth checking. They are changing over to pay and display. Once again people who leave there cars at airports for months have ruined it for us all. Now we will all have to pay. jc
If you both have mobiles-park away from the airport and they can contact you as they collect their bags, then you drive up as they come out of the terminal-works for us.
Kevinmc
Shouldn't be dark at that time of the day

Hoddy
Thanks for this Bellac 87. It's always good to have the 'official' information. We use the mobile phone ploy in the UK too.Hoddy
