Goodlife
I need to catch a flight to Malaga in Spain in a couple of weeks and will be near Le Mans at the start of the trip. I'm guessing that getting on a TGV at Le Mans gare heading towards Paris is a good place to start the journey [:)]. CDG and ORY airports are both OK for flights to Malaga, so would appreciate anyones thoughts on which airport is easiest to get to from a Train/Metro perspective coming into Montparnasse? Or is there an altogether better alternative way to Spain?
cooperlola
It's worth your while looking at going by train the whole way. I'll do a bit of research. I use Orly as it's our side of town but I've only driven there. I believe there is a connecting bus service from Monparnasse.
samdebretagne
You can take the TGV straight from Le Mans to CDG airport. There are four trains daily - early morning, mid-morning, afternoon & evening. The trip lasts between 1h30-2h depending on the time of day. cooperlola
D, Sam's idea looks best. You have to change trains more than three times to get from LM to Malaga so that would be pretty tedious. How's the leg, btw?
