AnOther
Let's hope they all come for Christmas and New Year.Perhaps one look at the gridlocked traffic, closed down railways and striking airports will convince them that their former home countries were not so bad after all [:P]
brianagain
As the UK still remains outside the latest Schengen changes (as well as the eurozone which also increases considerably from January) I doubt it will really impact in the UK any more than at present. However, it is interesting to note that a poll in today's Figaro shows that a large percentage in France (70%/30%) are worried about the effect of the open borders in France.Brian

Frederick
Southampton..........Town busses a year or so ago...big sign on the back.. " Drivers Wanted " 26 grand a year they will teach you to drive get you a licence etc ...........no takers ......so....they went to Poland over 30 already fully trained drivers now provide a valuable service to the bus users of the town. vacancies filled ....Now you cant tell me there were no unemployed in Southampton capable of being trained to drive a bus ....If the work is there and the locals dont want to put themselves out to do it ...then they cant complain if they see outsiders coming in and taking the work . ...France is in for a shock !
