brianagain
Reported today in Metro referring to a delay on Eurostar last Friday:"A sneaky cigarette in a toilet on aEurostar train started a fire and caused a four-hour delay for 700passengers bound for Paris. Smoke began pouring out of the cubicle as the train approached the French side of the Channel tunnel on Friday. A small fire in a toilet rubbish bin was caused by a discardedcigarette butt..." Seems like the train's eventual arrival in Paris resulted in lots of unhappy passengers stranded in the Gare du Nord in the very early hours of Saturday morning. Not surprisingly the culprit was neither identified or failed to own up - unlike the passenger with a toilet on his arm!Brian (again)
