richfishse22 Posted December 24, 2008 Share Posted December 24, 2008 Next year I am planning to use Eurostar for my fortnightly trips to France instead of Eurotunnel - planning ahead I can get 2 returns for under £120 which compares very favourably with Eurotunnel FT plus petrol and it should be a much easier journey avoiding London traffic. I will though need to leave my UK registered car in the car park at Calais Frethun for 12 day periods whilst I am back in the UK. Has anyone got any experience of doing this and if there are any pitfalls/risks that I need to be aware of? Having used the car park a few times for a day it seems other Brits might be doing this and I would be grateful for shared experience. Many thanks.
