arky
We had planned to sell our house in the UK last year and buy in France. Due to the housing market slump this did not happen. We now plan to use a touring caravan to stay in France for a month or 2 at a time untill we are able to sell in UK. We need to find sites north Dordogne, south Charente, Perigord regions. Also we need to be able to leave the caravan on a site/storage in France while we are in UK. Has anyone had experience of doing this? We would be grateful for any advice. Many thanks. Panick
Arky,The very noticeable difference in France is how much cheaper it is to store it. We keep ours down in 34, and pay 128 Euros per year (outdoor). In addition the owners will tow it onto the camp site for another 28 Euros each way. We found our storage site by asking at the camp site for recommendations. Seems to work just fine. Good Luck.
