reddwarfsam
Hi,I'm looking to travel to St Malo by ferry, has anyone got any suggestions on who to use. I notice Condor Ferries (www.condorferries.co.uk) have a some special offers on at the moment but not sure about the hotels. Can anyone give me some advice on where to stay?ThanksSam
Russethouse
If you stay with in the city walls take ear plugs ! The local youths shout to each other after piling out of night Clubs, which echoes through the streets early in the morning, then the dustmen come every day around dawn, then the seagulls start screeching.....It's lovely but it is not quiet........[;-)]
Gastines
Plenty of places just outside the City walls,Try Campanile/Formula 1 at St Jouan des Gueret about 5 mins away.Regards.
oscar
Why go to St Malo and stay in a Formula One !!!! The Hotel St Pierre, l'Univers or France et Chateaubriand are all within the old town and the only time I found any of them noisy was the night France won the World Cup. den169
They pack em in tight in the condor we went weymouth to st.malo and the car had a scratch all the way down one side when we got out the other side.Very small gaps between cars.
Cendrillon
If the crossing is busy they pack the cars in tight on Brittany Ferries as well. So far no scratches to the car but sometimes it can be really hard to get in and out of the vehicles.
