Gyro
This year I and my good wife will be driving home for xmas. To Ireland I might add so the first leg is booked with Irish ferries 150 one way with cabins. The problem is on the way home I got to use the land bridge through England Because that ferry dry docks till 20th Jan..So I'm looking at Rosslare - Fishguard and Dover - Calais leaving Dec31st.Question being do I have to travel as far as Dover to get the next ferry or could I try somewhere else? Pierre ZFP
You could maybe try Rosslare=>Cherbourg on the Celtic Link or on LD lines. No idea how much it might be though. EDIT: just out of curiousity, I plugged in random dates.for car + 2 + cabin =€155Not bad but a 20 hour crossing !!
Gyro
Its not too bad I have enough time for a few pints and to sleep it off after, I enjoy the ferry. The problem is the jan 2010 rate are not available yet.
