Richard51
I wonder if anyone can help out? Our French neighbours are planning to visit the UK (flying Bordeaux to Edinburgh by Ryanair) but they do not have passports. They both have French ID cards. According to the Ryanair webiste this would seem to be sufficient but I wondered if anyone could confirm that French ID will be sufficient? They are travelling from Dept 24 to Perth in Scotland. Is the Ryanair Bordeaux to Edinburgh the best route for them or is there a better option?
Sunday Driver
I expect Ryanair have enough experience of French passengers to be sure of their facts.........[;-)]
NormanH
Just check that the cards are still valid.I know of a few French people who don't bother to renew them very often, and on a couple of occasions I have come across cases where someone was refused at the check in. DavyH
Perth is only 45 minutes by car from Edinbugh airport so Edin would be the best destination I would think.
