Lollie
Anyone know if you can take a christmas cake in your hand luggage on a long haul flight from Paris?
idun
It isn't necessarily the taking the cake on board, it might be if the other end where you land, would they accept it and they may not.ie Australia doesn't even accept honey in anyone's luggage, and honey is a pretty healthy thing. idun
http://www.ed-hamilton.com/A/DESTINATIONS/1.details/import.htmlThey may or may not allow it, it does say that the rules change from time to time, I take it it won't be a 'tinned' christmas cake.I have to say over the years I have seen many foods products in tins, including cheese. Lollie
Unfortunately its not me travelling. A boy who lives with us term time is travelling home for christmas and I have baked his family a christmas cake. But next year I will be delivering personally.
