pachapapa Posted February 18, 2011 Share Posted February 18, 2011 This morning it was announced that the flights Poitiers-Girone will be suspended as from the 1st of may 2011; clients with bookings after this date will apparently be contacted by Ryan Air in the next 10 days, offering alternative arrangements or a refund. It should be noted however that the disagreement between the Council of Catalonie and Ryan Air regarding the use of the airport at Girone has resulted in the suspension of a total of 18 flights serving the airport; it is therefore possible that travellers from poitou-charente may suffer similar disruption with plans for connecting flights out of Girone.
