idun
I have watched a couple of reports on tv tonight and am not surprised at the findings, it was suggested that pilot error could be to blame a while ago. However, the pilots from Air France were criticising the alarm system, being too noisy and hard to tell where there is a malfunction, and from the sound of it, it cannot have helped. In the last couple of years, we have seen some remarkable pilots make landings that were very difficult and could so easily have gone wrong, and this showing the consequences when it does go wrong and it is so sad. audio
They also have plenty of time to get accustomed to this ‘noise’ every 6 months during their mandatory simulator training program. Why did they not complain then? A pathetic excuse I think.
