Lozza G
It's likely that my husband and I will have to travel from Liverpool to Tours, via Paris, to sign a compromis de vente sometime in December. But, unless I'm missing something, when I search the web it seems that there are no trains between Paris and Tours on any dates after about December 9th 2011. I've checked other train routes such as Bordeaux and Nantes to Tours during the same time period and found there are no trains then either. Since not all the trains can possibly be booked up, could anyone explain why it's seemingly impossible to travel from Paris to Tours by train at any time from mid-December onwards? Presumably, it's a timetable issue, ie. trains will run between Paris and Tours in December, but a timetable hasn't been released yet? Any (constructive!) advice gratefully received.Lozza G

cooperlola
I hate to mention the dreaded company but don't forget that Ryanair fly to Tours. I don't of course know how easy it is to get from Liverpool to Stanstead these days though!
Un autre Gallois
Hi - presumably you really want to make the journey to sign the compromis? There are other ways, such as giving your notaire's clerk "pouvoirs" & you can stay tucked up at home!Un a Gallois
