idun
http://goo.gl/GStE7 I suppose other tickets will be a little more expensive, but how good a deal is this. I have caught the mega bus and it is OK. On time setting off and arriving.
Gardian
Forget it.£15 for a May weekend: takes all day. Waste of time.Fine for a student - nobody on here is a student.
Russethouse
That may be true but people on here may have student children/grandchildren. It's useful info - thanks idun [:)]

idun
Lots of people who are retired use coaches and go on coach holidays. My Dad goes on several each year. I was in London in December and for all I caught the train down, returned home on the Megabus, which is this company. Apart from the toilet on board, it was fine and I would use them again.A day from London to Paris, well, that sounds OK to me, and I may yet be using this bus myself. I couldn't do the trip for £15, what with the tolls, the ferries or tunnel and never forgetting how expensive petrol is these days. And I have the time. I can remember our sons joining us by Eurolines coach when we were down here on holiday. This would have been around the early 90's. The network was quite extensive at that time, but it may well have contracted since then. The l-c airlines may well have hit them hard, but we still see the odd coach around.
