woolybanana
....or is it a Catch 22. Whichever, they make loadsa dosh. Surely it is time that the regulators sorted their bad practices, such as this one:http://www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/ryanair-shuts-website-but-demands-online-checkin-7766857.html
AnOther
Superficially at least (no actual reservation to fully check with) online check-in seems to be working still despite supposedly going down at 4 pm today.BTW, I was surprised but pleased to see on the Independent site that petrol has dropped to £0.384/ltr ! PaulT
In the article they say that within the last week they have sent out emails informing people of this. However, not everyone checks their emails daily and not everyone will have the facility to print out a boarding card at any time.Be interesting if someone takes them to the Small Claims Court to retrieve their £60.Paul
PaulT
Thinking about it I have a bank account with an Internet bank and also other accounts with banks that have Internet banking facilities. I have never had an email saying 'we are taking our site down for a few days'.Could it be a Ryanair sinister ploy to increase income?Paul
Loiseau
Arrrrghhh! Am flying RA on Wed , and was intending to check in online this weekend on return home to my printer. There is a RA message in my emails reminding me to do so, but no mention of the intended downtime. Fingers tightly crossed they won't be overwhelmed with checkers-in when I get through.Angela
