Théière
Is that any different to the usual £29.50 they have been running for ages?
Pierre ZFP
and are they still hitting you with a fuel surcharge? Even though the price of bunker fuel has dropped a lot recently.
Alan Zoff
We used the cheap DFDS Dover-Calais return crossing recently. Perfect weather but late leaving both times, slow crossing, held up entering ports (had to be pushed into Calais by tug and as in Speedferries days, other companies seem to be given priority to use Dover entrance), held for an age on car deck before they would open the door, no communication or apparent interest in passenger service. At under £60 return for car and pasengers it is certainly cheap enough but next time it will be back to using the tunnel. Some might see the boat trip as part of a holiday but personally I would rather save two hours plus out of a long journey.
