Clarkkent
Does anyone know whether LD Lines still offer discounts to passengers in particular age groups (over 65, under 25 etc)? There is no information on the web site.
lucylastic
As far as I can recall it has never been on their website. You have to book by phone and ask for the discount.
fisherman
I can not recall LD ever offering discounts apart from the car plus 2 for 5 days type of thing that they occasionally offer on their web site. They do have a frequent traveller card which is free & worth having. After about 6 trips you earn enough points to book a free trip.
just john
I can confirm that they offer a 10% discount to over 60's on phone bookings only, though for us after the first trip we found Newhaven was a nightie to get to and from, so back to Portsmouth. Clarkkent
Thank you for your confirmation, John.I have just called LD Lines and made a booking. They actually give a 20% discount. Had I have booked my crossing on line it would have cost £165, I paid £132.
