Blodwyn
A friend wants to take a puppy but isn't driving to UK. Airlines no good unless you pay a fortune to have it crated and put in the hold. You can take a dog on a French train but not on Eurostar. Any ideas? She was offered a lift but was let down. Gardian
I just had a very quick look at a few of the ferry operators websites.Brittany Ferries - only if travelling by carP & O - sameDFDS (Dover - Calais) - sameDFDS (Newhaven - Dieppe) - Yes! Dogs must travel in one of the car deck kennels. No idea where your friend is based, so Dieppe might not work for her, but from the looks of it, her options are very limited.Obviously, the dog will have to comply with all the pet passport regs which I haven't got a clue about, but which are well covered on here and on all of the ferry operators websites.Hope that helps a bit. Some drivers accept dogs ... and if the dog has its passport etc there should not be a problem.Sue
