mazandcol
Hi all, we need to fly to UK on Sunday (09th) and have to use Limoges airport, which is over 3 hours drive (don't ask). Anyway, I'm a bit concerned about possible delays due to the Gilet Jaune so I thought I'd ask if anyone has any 'local' knowledge of particularly issues en route. We're planning to drive north from Lot-et-Garonne via Perigeux, using D25, D3, D710, N221, N21 and D2000. Any advice gladly welcome. Thanks in advance. Théière
Should be fine as Macron has given in so the trouble should stop.

Gardengirl
I understand that there are calls to protest in large numbers this weekend for higher pay. I always think of Kipling’s poem ‘Danegeld’ in such cases of blackmail:The most famous lines are "once you have paid him the DanegeldYou never get rid of the Dane." nomoss
It puts me in mind of a more familiar saying involving inches and miles.

richard51
Driving from Limoges airport to Perigreux last Sunday we had no problems - though it was raining so that may have put people off.
mazandcol
So, one of those rare occasions where I'll pray for rain....
