sueyh
Who else is cheesed off with Eurotunnel suspending the sale of Frequent traveller tickets? Could not believe that they are penalising us because of covid! Suey
NickP
This is only for this summer, I would imagine you're annoyed because you didn't book early too avoid disappointment. ??

woolybanana
My lovely Bird was even put on an earlier tunnel as there were so few cars. Car park was empty too as I said before. Where are they all?
Loiseau
It was truly eerie to see so few vehicles waiting. On checkin in I was offered an earlier crossing at extra cost (my frequent traveller ticket deal was based on travelling after 16h), which I declined as I didn't mind waiting an hour or so in the car park. However, in the car park an employee came along telling everyone that they could just go, whatever letter was dangling from their rear-view mirror. (Glad I hadn’t paid extra! ?)The Folkestone terminal building was open just for use of WCs, through one entrance only, and by following a marked route inside. All shops and bureau de change closed off. You could order food/drink in there, but pay by card and have it delivered to your vehicle outside. (Not sure how that worked, as I didn’t try it.)Loos on board the shuttle are closed.
Judith-aka-Judith
I think I am glad I am not plannig to travel that way, until next year, but I must see if I can extend my non-used April trip a little longer ...
Alan Zoff
They are now accepting Frequent Traveller bookings again.Perhaps they didn't get the volumes they were expecting and need this revenue.
Gardengirl
The Connexion’s article about Eurotunnel restarting Frequent Traveller bookings said that they’d had to drop it temporarily because of high numbers of people trying to buy them when travel was allowed. Alan Zoff
Sounds like something cooked up by the marketing department :)
