Furry Knickers
I was rooting round me garden last week in the beautiful Normandie sunshine, I was gazing in wonderment at me lovely big blue Malva for several hours, watching the ants eating all the little afid yokes that had attached themselfs to me lovely tree. It was fascinating to watch, but I wonder if all them afids will be eat by the ants, and if either the ants or the afids will harm the lovely tree? I really don't want to use artificial stimulants to harm the creatures, but is there a way to remove them in a humane way? I am worried about Yvonne (me Malva) as the blue lads are hard to get and I have reared this one since she was a youngster, it is like seeing me own child covered in afids and ants.
