Beryl
Is this a jelly fish? If so what sort please? It was a pale but intense green jelly like lump with no trails . There have been a lot washed up of varying sizes from tea plate to dinner plate size in Brittany (Atlantic coast side). My dog prodded it with no ill effects. Cassis
Sounds like green jelly. Nothing in the Brittany Coast news about this phenomenon?

Pads
It dosnt look like a jelly fish to me but im no expert, could it be some thing some one has dumped at sea or cleaned out of the tanks, and has broken down in to lumps
chris pp
Well out of my depth with this, but if it's the same all round with no visible join it's not a jelly fish, anyway it looks to be the wrong shape, in my experience they always maintain a spherical appearance.Somewhere, deep in the depths of my memory, I'm sure that I have seen something similar, but I can't remember when, where or what it was.If it was me, I would have dissected one by now to find out what it was composed of.Chris
