Bugsy
A Cuckoo flew over our field this morning, clear as a bell. Can this be right in February ?
Ford Anglia
Here in the UK, I've got Bluetits building what appears to be a nest, and Robin, Blacky, Bluetit, Blackcap (I think), and Songthrush are all singing their hearts out.
chris pp
Taking a chance on upsetting you Gary, but I think that there has to be a good chance that you are mistaken, cuckoos are one of the later birds to arrive and earliest to leave, sparrowhawk can look similar.Chris
Dick Smith
I've got a Ring Dove in our eaves which sounds a lot like a cuckoo. I heard it yesterday, and thought "Is that a cuckoo?" But it wasn't. I was also much frighted whilst varnishing a spice cupboard in my shed and a big dog fox jumped onto the roof...
