Framboise
As an update to a previous posting concerning Monsieur Loir, our lodger, I can state that he is now an Ex-Lodger!We bought a humane trap two days ago, popped it atop one of the house beams laden with peanuts and some stinky camembert never thinking he would fall for the ruse, and at four thirty a.m. the door slammed shut with Him inside. Yes we caught the Scourge of the roofing insulation, fair and square.I was quite amazed at the size of the cheeky little devil, even more at how pretty he is, but he was a savage little beastie that attacked the cage when we approached so he had to go. However, had my Grand-daughter seen him I am sure it would have been a Siberian Hamster experience. Next morning we drove a good few miles away from the house and found a nice country lay-by with a decent barn a short distance away from it and released Monsieur Loir back into the wild, so I guess by now he is hitch-hiking back to my place totally hacked-off with us for being evicted! [:@] We just have to watch out now in case Madame Loir is there................
