cookehouse Posted July 27, 2007 Share Posted July 27, 2007 Sorry if this is in the wrong section but does anyone know how to discourage ants.The tiny manic ones and their winged dopier cousins have invaded my Belle Meres room (there is a joke here but I'll resist)I've swept them up and taken them outside but more return. Surely they can't be the same ones.Is there a simple method of encouraging them to invade somewhere else, but not our room, without using anticide or is that the only way (of course we could always send Belle Mere home and hope the ants follow Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Find out where the ants are coming in, out of which crack they are issuing (Noooooooooo, dont even think of it) and seal it. If you don't want to use poison that is. But they may try again. Otherwise just be patient until their flying season is over. MIL may want to leave until then so dont do anything..... (Nooooo). I always liked shooting fish where they couldnt get away.
