Christine Animal
"Threats for dolphins are on the rise: They face entanglement in fishing nets, marine pollution, prey depletion due to overfishing, deliberate hunting and disturbance from noise. These are only some of the causes why they might soon be extinct in the world’s seas."
Megan le Fey
Dolphins are such wonderful, magical creatures and I believe that they have enormous intelligence. We used to scuba dive (40 years ago) in Singapore/Malaysia and in Kenya. There were plenty of dolphins then and, if we were lucky they would come and play with us or showoff, underwater, or give free athletic displays on the surface. I remember once just outside Mombassa about 6 of them joined us and they kept coming at us really fast and then stopped and used their noses to flick sand at us then shook their heads, as if laughing, and shot off, just to return and chuck sand at us again. To be allowed to spend time with wonderful wild creatures like that was just incredible. I cannot imagine a world without them, and all the other endangered creatures. Christine Animal
What an experience you had Anne, how fantastic. It must be really wonderful to be able to have contact with these lovely, friendly creatures and in the sea, not in one of those pools.
