runningdog
About a month ago just after I had finished cutting a hedge a very large cricket alighted on the frame of my front door. I would have said that it was a great green bush cricket apart from the fact that it was wingless. It was very bright green, very heavily built, thorax abdomen and head abot 35mm and antennae a further 45mm. It was a male and had no wings. Any ideas??? chris pp
Nice photo Clair, unfortunately it's not a Bush cricket, (Sauterelle en Française), but a Praying mantis, (Mante religieuse en Française). I can see that you are ready for a course in entomology.[;-)]Chris x
Clair
Chris, When I typed "here's one...", I really meant "Here's a huge insect..." [:$]Some of the pictures on that site are way too detailed for my vivid imagination... [blink]
