Dog
Two or three hundred Grue came over today and as many do as we are very high catch thermals and gain height and regroup. They were right over our house at about 150 metres and broke the V and swirled around gaining height - I was staring upwards with my mouth open when the wifelet advised me to close my mouth - I caught the smell then as I heard guano bombing down through the trees and onto my garden. Very kind of them to send presents to help this years growth in my garden. Nice.
Kitty
This reminds of me of something that happened to me at Weston-super-Mud, a few years' ago. I was on the beach eating a Mr Whippy ice cream when, unbeknown to me, a seagull 'bombed' me. Now you can imagine the rest of the story - but it had a happy ending. I was just about to lick the offending substance from my coat (you always have to wear a coat at Weston, even in August), when my young daughters who had spotted the incident stopped me - in the nick of time. So lucky me (sort of)....
