osie Posted May 6, 2009 Share Posted May 6, 2009 I have noticed lots of odd insects this year and so am asking about this one... unfortuneately no photo.It looked very much like a 'flying daddy long legs' except the body was more like a extremely thin wasp (as in yellow and black rings) and it had a red bottom.. which may explain why it was stabbing it as hard as it could in the ground(specifically sand) about once every 1 1/2 seconds..I though it might be something to do with breeding.. planting lots of eggs all over the place..any ideas as to putting a name to this beast... ;-)osie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
