mint
Merci, Clair.BTW, what is la lune gibbeuse? (mentioned on the site you have given us).Last night, we went for a walk with the local randonée group and, on our way home, we saw absolutely the most enormous and most beauteous harvest moon.Is that what a lune gibbeuse is, stp? Cat
None, and I've just seen two more.Stand facing the plough, and then make a quarter turn to the left, and scan the sky. They seem to be coming every 4 minutes or so.

mint
Clair, thank you so much for the explanation of la lune gibbeuse. That was exactly what I saw last night and the colour was sort of a deep orange. It was so beautiful I was quite stunned by it.
