Kitty
I understood that it all depended on the varieties. There are early flowering daffodls and later ones. Same with snowdrops, crocuses (croci?) etc.All the same, one thing that I like about France is the early arrival of spring.

odile
beautiful cold, crisp and very sunny day here in East Mids. the snowy roling Leicestershire hills looked magnificent - and Gatsby, our Swiss dog- loved every minute of our long walk. Patf
As hard as I look on my afternoon walks I haven't been able to find any real signs of spring yet. I've seen lots of gorse in flower, but that's a mid-winter flower.I did see some pussy-willow venturing out this pm (no rude jokes please.)So I fall back on the old favourite, "If winter comes, can spring be far behind?Would you believe it, edited out? Mr Coeur de Lion
We had the top down on the car the other day. Mainly due to a lemon tree in the back, but even so it was nice to drive in the open with the sun. Still had the air con on hot, mind.
