Pierre ZFP
Saw THIS on the BBC websiteA farmer close to me (in Lorraine I think) claims a sheep was killed by a wolf but it turned out to be just a big dogCould make hiking in the Alps interesting, not to mention off piste skiing [:-))]
alittlebitfrench
Loads of wolfs in France and they are not all P&O British builders.http://www.lefigaro.fr/sciences/2014/08/26/01008-20140826ARTFIG00331-quatre-cents-loups-font-des-ravages-dans-nos-campagnes.php"La protection du loup coûte près de 12 millions d'euros à l'État"I am not sure sheep support that kind of expenditure. Chancer
Sheep are never actually going to voice their concerns or do anything about what they dont agree with, creating sheep is the goal of the French education system.
Jonzjob
Wolves are wonderful creatures and one of the most efficient hunters. They deserve their place, but that place is NOT where they can come into contact with domestic animals. It isn't fair on either the domestic jobbies or the wolves. They are naturally going to find food where it is easy and sheep are easy for them. Then to blame the wolves is stupid and to put them in that position is criminally idiotic! Either the sheep or the wolves. It's an exclusive or condition!Plus, what happens when it gets to the situation when a pack of wolves kill someone out hiking? They will get the come back not the prat hiking!
