Chauffour
does anyone know if one can study a form of gcse or similar in French, in France as a second language?hope you get my drift...I would love to study "formally" rather than just attend patchy classes with no real targets to aim for.thanks Chauffour giteshttp://www.chauffour.com
letrangere
Not sure about the GCSE but there are certainly certificates issued by the French Ministry of Education for non-native speakers learning French. They start with the certificate called a DELF, which is in 1-6 levels. I think you take 1-4 all at one go followed by 5+6 together. 5+6 are A level/beyond so 1-4 may be an equivalent standard of GCSE. They're far more interesting though as you study purely in French. Where are you in France?Margaret
