Sue56
Can someone explain the AS/A Level system, how it works. Never got this far at secondary school so don't know much about them. A teacher recommended that after my French GCSE I go onto AS Level - is this lower than A Level or the first part of it or something completely different? What does it entail? Thanks. Richardrawlings
HIThe AS and A2 combine to make the A level. There are 6 Units that cover 4 aspects reading writing listening and speaking. You can retake modules once and the highest grade will count. The individual grades you get for the modules count towards the overall A level grade have a look at http:\\www.edxcel.org there are various things to look at including a students guide you will need to click on GCE then modern langs. Also you could have a Look at the OCR web site but I dont know the address for themRichard
