Meo
There is one thing in French i just fail to understand and would be grateful if someone more knowledgeable could clear up. What is the purpose of the definite article before the subject in the following sentences:Lorsque L'on est en cours d'acquisition d'un logement.....Trouver un emploi lorsque Lon est handicap... C'est mme cela que L'on reconnait les grands dirigeants...Cheers!
Cjb
It's also so that you avoid saying "con". It's mainly used in written french, although you will here politicians, academics etc.. using it in spoken french. My old french teacher insisted that I use it, but none of my french friends ever do.
