I want to say "time has flown by":

I have come up with four possibilities and am not sure which (if any) is correct:

1)      Le temps est très vite passé

2)      Le temps est passé très vite

3)      Le temps s’est très vite passé

4)   Le temps s’est passé très vite

any help would be greatly appreciated!

According to her indoors (what's French for that?!) answer 2 is correct, almost, you should say:

Le temps a passé très vite

Also the second suggestion by CJB is correct.

Apparently the French do use this expression.

Please do not infer any smugness on my part: I had no idea and the missus is French....
