I recently read about the Website called wordPROF.  I logged on and instantly became hooked.  Not being on broadband or on a contract with an internet provider it soon became an expensive hobby.  My daughter bought me the cd rom for Xmas and it is fantastic.  You just pop in the disc, type your name in a workbook and it instantly brings up the first lesson for you.  It starts at beginners level but you can change that if you want.  When you open up your workbook it remembers where you got to, it knows what you got wrong last time and gives you extra revision and even tells you when it thinks you have studied for too long. 

It is purely vocabulary but also helps with spelling, gender, accents etc.  You can set up a workbook for each member of your family for their own personal lessons.  I think it is great.
