Are there any discussion groups in Dept 61?

We have a cottage near L'Aigle, and are struggling with the language! Both hubby and I are "O" level standard, and can just about get by.. as long as not challenged. Just wondered if anyone would be interested in getting together to share, learn and help with day to day discussions, phrases etc. Really want to be seen to be TRYING by our fellow French locals. It would also be great to find some Brits for the odd social gathering.

I think we are the only Brits in the area... not spotted a single GB car, or heard the Mother tongue spoken... could this be true????
