darnsarf
If I'm inviting someone to a party but I don't know if they are married or even have a partner, it can be a bit tricky to know what to write on the invitation. In the UK, I'd write the name of the invitee and include "and guest" as a get around. What is the way around this in french? Is there a word which explains 'who ever you are 'with'? The french word for guest is 'convive' but this might cause all sorts of problems in translation! Advice much appreciated...
