cabman
I 'm looking at a vehicle dealers website where part of the vehicle description includes under commentaires: "direction mecanique".I understand comments but "direction mecanique" produces an identical translation from babelfish. Is this motor trade jargon? If so, is it good or bad news?
M
'Direction' relates to the steering. I would guess it means that the vehicle does not have power steering - but the mechanics amongst us might know better! Can you tell us the make / model involved?regardsM
samdebretagne
It means it does not have power steering (which is direction assistée).
