Central London Group/Conversational French (BBC's 'The French Experience' as back up)

Anybody interested in getting together on a weeknight evening to work through The French Experience (BBC Course) and do a bit of conversation?  I am waiting to do the next City Lit course (£70) and there is no way of getting on their course until September 2007!!!

If any French person, living in London, fancies giving this group a bit of a lead I know a room in a pub in London Bridge and if we all paid £50 that might cover the cost of the room hire and give the 'course' leader some money to boot??? 

I have a house in France, lovely neighbours and they all want to gossip and invite me round for a chat, so I need to improve my French in order to supply said gossip.  Given the local accent is also quite strong (Languedoc), I am really having to concentrate a lot.  I go down every six weeks to spend either a weekend or two weeks at the house.
