Ian
Folks, I think I'm clutching at straws here, but I might be lucky....The house I'm buying come with (recently granted) permission for a fosse. When the current owner applied, she described the house as having "..6 chambres..", and on that basis, permission was granted for a fosse etc of X size.My question is, does "chambre" in this context mean "bedroom" (in which case the vendor has allowed for future developments, and I don't have to re-apply for a bigger fosse), or is it a general word meaning "room" (in which case if I develop beyond, say, three bedrooms, I may have a problem...)?I realise that language isn't always precise, but if anyone can put my mind at rest, I'll be very grateful. Thanks
Clair
They're bedrooms. When we had ours installed, we were advised to fit a 4000l tank, to cover the existing 3 bedrooms and a potential 3 more to be built in the attic conversion.
