Understand each other

I was trying to put together the phrase " we can understand each other".

I started to get stuck with how to express "each other".

At first I thought that I might try...

Nous pouvons comprendre chaque autre

But, it never seemed quite right.

Is it more correct to say "Nous pouvons compendre l'un de l'autre".

Use the reflective form: "on peut se comprendre / nous pouvons nous comprendre"
