Ysatis
Has anybody used Skype to help them improve their language skills. If anyone has, I would be interested to hear how you got on. Since my A level finished, I'm already feeling a bit rusty and need something to keep me active in listening and speaking. I wondered if this would be a good way to reinforce and consolidate what I've learnt.Regards,
woolybanana
It is very similar to telephone language learning really. If you have a camera and can get face to face interaction so much the better.
Ysatis
Thanks Wooly."face to face" I wouldn't wish my mug-shot on too many people. I thought hearing a native person would improve my listening skills which aren't too great. And, of course, speaking more to become more fluid. It's plucking up the courage to do it. Ysatis
Hi ErnieY,I have recently joined Sharedtalk have already have a few penfriends, and one said she'd chat when she gets her voice back. I'm extremely nervous about doing this. I rarely talk in french now, I do listen to french on the tv or radio, but most of it is way over my head.I'm going to have to take the plunge, otherwise I just won't move forward.Regards
