Could someone please help with a translation from a car manual:

"Les points de remorquage ne peuvent etre utilisés qu'en traction.

Accès aux points de remorquage:

Déclippez le cache 3 ou 5.

Vissez l'anneau de remorquage 1 au maximum:dans un premier temps à la main jusqu'en butée, puis terminez en bloquant à l'aide de la clé de roue.

L'anneau de remorquage et la clé de roue sont situés sous le tapis de coffre dans le bloc outils."

Towing eyes should be use only when towing.

To access them: unclip cover 3 or 5.

Screw the towing eye 1 to the full: in the first instance, do so by hand until it stops, then finish with the wheel ??.

The towing eye et the wheel ?? are kept in the tool box, under the boot mat.

Thanks Clair. I wondered about clé - maybe it's clef or key.

My job for this afternoon was to find out how to fix on the towing attachment. I still haven't managed to work out how to unclip cover 3 or 5.

clé / clef de roue could be wheel brace.

Clé is a generic term for several types of spanner.

You screw in the towing eye first by hand until it gets tight then put the wheelbrace through the towing eye and turn it to screw the eye right in.....[Www]
