Here are some links that I think may be useful to all of you out there learning or keeping up the language. All the stuff on it is free as well [8-|]

Both of the following sites contain many free audiobooks, downloadable into mp3 format, including transcripts:

This site contains an extremely nifty little tool which you can use free online (or download and buy), to help you conjugate all the French verbs.

(It's also possible to use it for many other languages in fact).

These three sites contain many pronunciations of French words, that can be downloaded into mp3's:

These sites offer free podcasts, downloadable to mp3. (In some cases the transcripts are not free however):

9. http://www.learnoutloud.com/Podcast-Directory/Languages/French (many links to many, predominantly free, podcast-sites).

 

With this reader you can read o.a. ' Le Figaro' and ' Le Monde'  and load any French URL to be read in fact.

 Hover over the text with your mouse and it the possibilities for translations will 'pop up'  including the pronunciation.

Free tv/ radio links (livestreams and/ or online):

13. http://www.bbc.co.uk/languages/french/tv/ (BBC online programmes/ video's and guide to French tv).

On these two sites you can download many grammar books, ebooks, audiomaterial and video' s in French for free.

In order to be able to download you must register (this is free and there is no spam/commercial emailing involved).
