alden_t Posted April 25, 2010 Share Posted April 25, 2010 Hello, I just joined today and this site seems to be geared towards Brits who desire to settle in France. I am more interested in visiting Paris to see the Louvre and maybe Normandy for the memorials there. I live in Northern California USA and last year, for the first time in many years, went overseas to New Zealand in May and then London and Canterbury in December. After seeing the National Galleries I got a hankering to see the Louvre. I have begun with the Berlitz French courses so maybe I will be able to speak a fair amount of French when I go to visit.
