BritinBretagne
I once went on a school trip with a group of British children to a disused coal mine near the Mohne Dam in Germany. The guide only spoke German so most of his comments were translated by a bilingual member of our group. We eventually arrived at a point where the guide’s face lit up. I know this one in English, he exclaimed. It’s a big-b@stard pump.

EuroTrash
There is an expression "jeunesse dissolue" but I think that might be a bit extreme unless you were very very wild indeed :-)
NormanH
I think I might re-phrase the English first..How about les excès de la jeunesse?Youthful excess, rather than 'mis-spent'?..although I may be projecting my own experience there [6]
